The Latest News:
Florida
ABC News projects Clinton will win the Florida Democratic primary, based on vote analysis.
A quarter of Florida Democratic primary voters were seniors, a strong group for Clinton; she won nearly three-quarters of their votes in preliminary exit poll results. Under 30s went for Bernie Sanders in nearly the same numbers, but they made up just 10 percent of the electorate, less than in previous states.
Women accounted for nearly six in 10 voters in Florida, and they went for Clinton 2-1.
North Carolina
ABC News projects Clinton will win the North Carolina Democratic primary, based on vote analysis.
More than eight in 10 North Carolina Democratic primary voters said they wanted someone with political experience as opposed to an outsider, and Clinton won six in 10 of them.
Clinton won eight in 10 African-American votes in North Carolina; African Americans accounted for three in 10 Democratic primary voters there.
Ohio
ABC News projects Clinton will win the Ohio Democratic primary, based on vote analysis.
Black voters in Ohio backed Clinton over Sanders by more than 2-1 -- but that was well down in preliminary results from her 5-1 advantage among blacks in previous contests to date.
As in Michigan, Clinton’s challenge was specifically among younger blacks. In preliminary results, she won blacks age 45 and older by her typical margins, with more than eight in 10 of their votes. But she and Sanders ran about evenly among blacks younger than 45.
Clinton did better in the expectations game as well. More than six in 10 in Ohio said she has the best chance of beating Trump in the general election, and she won the support of more than eight in 10 of those who were most focused on electability and experience.
