Dez Bryant claims to own over 3,000 pairs of Jordan sneakers

— -- Dallas Cowboys?wide receiver? Dez Bryant is one of the elite players at his position in the NFL -- something that's been well-known for a few years now. But one thing that fans may not be aware of is how many pairs of sneakers he has in his household. And not just any type of sneakers -- they have to be Jordans.

On Thursday, Bryant told reporters that he owns between 3,000 and 3,500 pairs of Jordan sneakers. He's also a member of Team Jordan, so of course he's going to promote his brand over the others.

Bryant's Jordan ambassador status allows him to get his hands on some of the exclusive pairs before they hit stores.

"When that shoe release, I'm done wearing it," Bryant said. "I get my shoes, like, at least six months to a year early. No joke, seriously. Like, I'm already in January of 2017 right now ... when it comes to Jordans.?

"A month, I probably get about 50 pairs of shoes."

Here's a quick glimpse of what Bryant's closet looks like:?

Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott had jokes for Dak Prescott and his choice of footwear, which led many to wonder who in Dallas' locker room had the upper hand in the sneaker department.

When asked if anyone on the team could compete with his shoe collection, Bryant responded, "Nobody, nobody. Besides Jordan himself."
