Super Bowl 2015: Why Marshawn Lynch Wasn't Surprised By The Seahawks' Final Play
The Seattle Seahawks opted to pass, losing on goal-line interception.
-- Marshawn Lynch wasn't surprised he didn't get the ball just feet from the goal line in the Seattle Seahawks' final play of the Super Bowl, the running back told the NFL Network.
Instead of handing off to Lynch, one of the most powerful and reliable running backs in the league, the Seahawks called for a pass and quarterback Russell Wilson was intercepted.
Lynch said he wasn't surprised "because football is a team sport," the NFL Network reported.
The New England Patriots beat the Seahawks 28-24.
The NFL star may be over the Seahawks' last play, but others are still shocked.
