We've seen technology that has the power to help people take charge of their health, save money and make daily life easier.
But it wouldn't be a proper technology show without at least a few perplexing products that made us ask "Why?"
Case in point: The Air2 levitating wireless speaker. The company behind the gravity defying speaker said it allows no sounds waves to be lost from having a speaker that rests on a flat surface.
The Air2 is also equipped with Bluetooth, allowing users to live out a sort of George Jetson futuristic fantasy when taking their phone calls.
The brainchild of a French company, Rollkers are a wearable transportation accessory that let the users "walk" as fast as 7 mph.
Once the "electronic under shoes" are strapped on, the user can zip around town.
While they may be ideal for the chronically late person, the downside is users will have to carry the electronic skates around when they are not in use.
Sketchers added a light-up memory game into a child's sneaker. It looks so cool that it would clearly be impossible to not give into temptation by taking off the shoes and playing the game.
The shoes are not available in adult sizes.
One of the most buzzed about moments at CES was the rebirth of Sony's flagship music player, the Walkman.
While the device is getting a modern makeover, it's no longer the low-cost music player of the past. The new 128 GB Walkman comes with a $1,119.99 price tag that left many people waxing nostalgic for the days when buying a Walkman didn't cost an entire paycheck.
