23 Students Injured in Nashville School Bus Crash: Authorities

-- A school bus crash in Tennessee has injured 23 students, according to authorities.
Among the injuries were a broken collar bone and two serious arm injuries, the Nashville Fire Department said. Two of those who suffered serious injuries were teens, the fire department said.
Twenty-three students were transported to the hospital by ambulance, while another 20 were transported to the hospital by school bus to be evaluated as a precaution, firefighters said. None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
The Chester County school bus was driving on Interstate 65 near Nashville when it crashed Friday morning, authorities said.

Aerial footage from local news coverage shows emergency crews responding to the scene. One person was placed on a stretcher, and at one point, some students stand in a circle with a firefighter and pray.
No further details were available. It is unclear what caused the accident.
