quicklist: 1title: 'In This Case I Said Something That's Just Completely Wrong'text: Mitt Romney for the first time characterized his comments during a fundraiser that were surreptitiously filmed and caught the candidate essentially writing off 47 percent of Americans as "completely wrong."

"Clearly in a campaign with hundreds if not thousands of speeches and question and answer sessions, now and then you're going to say something that doesn't come out right," Romney said in an interview Wednesday night with Fox News' Sean Hannity. "In this case I said something that's just completely wrong."

Romney went on to say that his life has shown he cares about "100 percent and that's been demonstrated through my life and this whole campaign is about the 100 percent."

quicklist: 2title: 'My Hope Is He Is Able to Do All the Things Little Boys Should Do'text: Jenna Buswell, a Washington state mother of two, does worry about such close contact.

Buswell's bundle of joy, her 7-month-old son Casen, has a rare vascular condition that causes his blood vessels, skin and muscles to harden, and it will only worsen as he gets older.

The condition, so rare that Casen is only one of 14 known cases in the world, is called glomuvenous malformations plaque type, and is caused by a missing glomulin gene. If left untreated, it could ultimately lead to heart failure, Buswell said.

A husband-and-wife doctor team are the only professionals in the world to have an established treatment that may save Casen's life.

"My hope is he is able to do all the things little boys should do. Run around, ride his bike, play with his sister," Buswell said.

quicklist: 3title: 'You Don't Reach 100 Just Like This. With Your Body, You've Got to Use It, Not Abuse It.'text: It really was the celebration of the century.

Best friends for 91 years, Joseph Katz and Al Spiegal celebrated their 100th birthdays together in Lauderhill, Fla., on Saturday.

The two whipper-snappers, originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., celebrated by having a joint party at Inverrary Diner near their homes in Florida. Spiegal's actual birthday was Aug. 26, but he waited to blow out the candles until his best bud's big day on Sept. 29.

Katz had a few simple words of wisdom for anyone else looking to live to 100 years old.

"You don't reach 100 just like this. With your body, you've got to use it, not abuse it. Live the right kind of life. Take care of yourself," Katz said. "Eat the right kind of food. Don't smoke. Don't touch alcohol. Go ride a bike. Go ballroom dancing. Keep occupied and you'll make it."

quicklist: 4title: 'Hi, I'm Steve Martin. You Probably Know Me as the Actor and Comedian. But Did You Know I'm Also a Home Crafts Expert?'text: Did you know that Steve Martin is not only a famous actor and comedian, he's also a home-crafts expert? And that he supports Bob Kerrey?

Until last week, Martin was not particularly known for his ability to wad paper or his leanings in Nebraska's 2012 Senate race, but perhaps that's about to change.

Martin recorded a video endorsement of Kerrey, the former Democratic Nebraska senator and governor who's running for Senate again this year against GOP nominee Deb Fischer. A friend of Martin's, Kerrey officiated at his wedding to Anne Stringfield at Martin's Los Angeles home in 2007, People magazine reported at the time.

quicklist: 5title: 'As a Producer of the Catalog, We Regret the Current Situation.'text: Compare the annual IKEA catalogs disbursed around the world and they are nearly identical, save for a slight difference.

The difference is not in the Swedish translations of the furniture or the mock layouts of the numerous living rooms in the catalog. The discrepancy lies in the people who are portrayed in the company's catalog enjoying themselves in and around the IKEA furniture.

Saudi Arabia's IKEA catalog does not include women in the scenes.

In Saudi Arabia, women cannot drive cars but can vote as of last year.

One of the most obvious examples is a page in the IKEA catalog, published in Sweden and disbursed around the world, where there is a woman standing beside a young boy in a bathroom.

However, in the Saudi Arabian version of the catalog, the young woman has disappeared and the boy is standing alone.

"As a producer of the catalog, we regret the current situation," IKEA added.

quicklist: 6title: 'As a Shareholder I'm Sort of Sympathetic to the Shareholder View That the Industry Is Still Overpaid'text: Morgan Stanley CEO James Gorman has folks in the banking sector buzzing with his comments that the industry is "still overpaid."

"There's way too much capacity and compensation is way too high," Gorman told the Financial Times. "As a shareholder I'm sort of sympathetic to the shareholder view that the industry is still overpaid."

A spokeswoman for Morgan Stanley declined to elaborate or make Gorman available for comment. Gorman's doing pretty well though. He received a $10.5 million pay package in 2011, a pay cut of 25 percent from 2010. He was the 23rd highest-paid CEO in America last year, according to Bloomberg Markets Magazine.

Earlier this year, Deutsche Bank co-chief executives Anshu Jain and Juergen Fitschen said compensation reform was one of their three key objectives.

Gorman's comments come a week before the major U.S. banks report their third-quarter earnings. JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo will be the first with their earnings releases, due Friday, Oct. 12.

quicklist: 7title: 'What I Love About Him Is That He's So Great Under Fire, But He Has to Realize That People Like a Little Bit of Drama.'text: Vivica Fox knows drama -- she presides over a circus of it on the reality series "Prank My Mom" -- and thinks President Obama needs to indulge in it after Wednesday's debate.

"What I love about him is that he's so great under fire, but he has to realize that people like a little bit of drama," she told ABCNews.com. "He has to walk that line."

Fox, a self-described "sports junkie" who said she's probably watching ESPN if her TV's not tuned to CSPAN, compared the presidential debates to a boxing match.

"It was just round one," she said. "Obama's like the heavyweight champ. He's going to wear [Mitt Romney] down. He's a smart guy."
