New England Patriots Rob Gronkowski's home burglarized while he was away for Super Bowl

Authorities declined to say what was stolen.

The break-in occurred through a window on Sunday night, according to a Foxborough police report.

Gronkowski, 28, reported the burglary to police at about 6:20 p.m. Monday, telling the responding officers he had arrived home earlier that day, according to the police report.

Some items were stolen from the star tight end's home, Foxborough Police William Chief Baker said, though he declined to identify them.

"We will have no further comment on the case until the case is solved," he added.

ABC News' Kelly McCarthy contributed to this report.
