quicklist: 1title: 'We Are Boston Strong.'text: Red Sox Nation turned out in force Saturday in a defiant display of spirit after a week of terror, while others vowed that the bombs and dragnets of recent days would not deter them from next year's celebration of the Boston Marathon.
A packed Fenway Park cheered survivors of the Boston Marathon bombing that killed three and wounded 170. They cheered the police who captured suspect Dzhokhak Tsarnaev and killed his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev in a wild shootout. And they cheered for themselves.
"We are one. We are strong. We are Boston. We are Boston strong," the announcer said to an eruption of cheers.
They watched an emotional montage of photos from the past week on the centerfield screen and then, inspired by fans at Boston Bruins game earlier this week, the entire crowd sang the national anthem.
Saturday's game was the first to be played since the manhunt for the alleged bombers came to an end.

quicklist: 2title: 'I Can't Believe He Had the Balls to Come Back and Act Like Nothing Happened.'text: One day after the Boston Marathon bombings, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev spent time at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he was enrolled as a student and "acted like nothing happened," according to a friend at the campus.
Tsarnaev, 19, is believed to be one of the suspects behind the bombing of the Boston Marathon on Monday that killed three people and injured more than 170.
Andrew Glasby told ABC News that Tsarnaev lived one floor above him at the Pine Dale dormitory and he had a conversation with the alleged bomber on the campus one full day after the bombing.
"I can't believe he had the balls to come back and act like nothing happened," Glasby said.
UMass would only confirm that Tsarnaev was on the campus Wednesday, according to card swipes. Tsarnaev visited the gym and slept in his dorm room Wednesday, according to the school.

quicklist: 3title: 'I Think Everything Around Us Is Pretty Much Just Gone.'text: A fiery explosion at a Texas fertilizer plant in a small town 19 miles north of Waco killed 14, injured 200 people and destroyed dozens of homes and businesses, according to town officials.
Firefighters responded at the plant on Wednesday at 7:29 p.m., and realizing the severity of the situation, began evacuating people in the vicinity.
Approximately 20 minutes later, an explosion tore through a four-to-five block radius, leveling roughly 80 homes, a middle school and trapping 133 residents of a nursing home in rubble. The blast was so powerful, residents said it shook the ground and there were reports of people hearing it several miles away.
"I was watching the flames and then it was just like a huge, huge explosion and two houses, I mean, it demolished both of those," West City Councilwoman Cheryl Marak ABC News Radio. "I think everything around us is pretty much just gone."

quicklist: 4title: 'My Family Wants the Person or Persons Responsible... To Be Brought to Justice.'text: Authorities have arrested a Mississippi man possibly responsible for letters apparently tainted with the poison ricin that were sent to President Obama and government offices, including that of Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss.
The FBI identified the man as Paul Kevin Curtis of Corinth, Miss.
It was unclear whether Curtis had been charged with a crime or where he was being held.
Jack Curtis, Paul Kevin Curtis' older brother, said in a written statement that the family believed Curtis only was taken in for questioning and no charges had been filed against him.
"My family wants the person or persons responsible for such [egregious] behavior to be brought to justice," the statement said. "We have no reason to believe Kevin would be involved. We love him and look forward to getting answers to make sense of all this. We know very little as most of our information has come from watching the news. Until my family get[s] some answers and we have a chance to talk to my brother, I can't comment further."
