Small Plane Crashes Into Car on California Freeway

One person in the car was killed and five others were injured.

— -- A small plane crashed on a California freeway today, colliding with a car that had pulled over to the side of the road and killing a person in the car.

Five people -- two from the four-seat single-prop Lancair IV plane and three from the car -- were injured, the California Highway Patrol said, according to The Associated Press.

According to the NTSB, the Lancair IV was piloted by Dennis Hogge, who is also the owner of the plane.
