— -- 1. Fight Against ISIS: 'We're Not Done,' Says Gen. John Allen

Just over one year after the U.S. began its mission, along with Arab allies, to launch airstrikes targeting the ISIS terror group in Iraq and Syria, the top U.S. envoy in the coalition says there is still much work to be done.

"We're not done yet," retired Gen. John Allen told ABC News' Martha Raddatz in an interview Sunday on "This Week."

"There's much work to be done, but we've had some real successes," Allen said. "Tikrit was taken back by Iraqi security forces. Tikritis are returning home now... And in Syria -- in that place called Kobani, where we thought we would see another horrendous massacre occur, brave defenders supported that coalition, ultimately held the city."

3. New NFL Game Plan Looks to Tackle Head Injuries

With another NFL season kicking off, the league is taking on concussions.

It seems the league is playing "catch up" on an issue that has been plaguing the sport for years. Recently, the NFL agreed to pay as much as $5 million to retired players without any admission of wrongdoing –- after thousands sued, claiming the NFL didn't take health risks seriously.

Now the NFL has named cardiologist Dr. Elizabeth Nabel the league's first health and medical adviser. It's up to her to strike a balance between the action fans love and the players' safety.

4. Oregon Cat Steals for Its Police Sergeant Owner

A cat burglar has amassed quite an impressive haul in one Oregon neighborhood.

Tigger the cat has been stealing trash and other goods in Gladstone, near Portland, for four years, ABC affiliate KATU-TV reports. Anything the feline takes -- including a bag of marijuana -- ends up in the driveway and back porch of his owner, West Linn Police Sgt. Dave Kempas.

"He left it right out here," Kempas told KATU-TV. "Tigger is kind of a party cat."

5. 'Star Wars' Characters to Appear on British Postage Stamps

Great Britain is paying its own unique tribute to "Star Wars" a few months ahead of the release of the film "The Force Awakens."

Royal Mail, Britain's postal agency, will issue a set of 18 stamps featuring characters such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo -- as well as characters from the new film, including Rey, Finn and Kylo Ren. The stamps are scheduled to go on sale October 20.

The stamps were illustrated by Malcolm Tween, according to the Royal Mail. The bottom right of the stamps will feature a secondary character or scene.
