Fyre Festival promo video island Saddleback Cay is now up for sale
The island certainly looks idyllic.
Travelers and island lovers alike couldn't help but be swept up with the idyllic images touted by the ill-fated Fyre Festival promo videos.
Now, the island the videos used to advertise a VIP, luxury music festival backed by such big names as Ja Rule -- one that, in reality, was a disaster of criminal extent -- is up for sale.
The island is Saddleback Cay, one of a series of hundreds in the Bahamas' Exumas island chain.
The private island is listed for $11.8 million and has seven beaches, a main house and several small cottages.
"Located in the northern most section of the Exuma Cays, the island has easy access by boat or by air from New Providence," according to the listing.
Normans' Cay is a short distance away and "has an operational airstrip, providing ease of access to Saddle Back Cay," the listing says, adding that it is "conveniently located to some of the best bone fishing and deep water fishing spots in all of the Bahamas."
Celebrities who appeared in promos and endorsed the festival before it fell apart include Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin and Kendall Jenner.
