ABC announces 'Celebrity Jeopardy!' to debut this fall
No host has yet been announced for the "Jeopardy!" spin-off.
Are you ready for more "Jeopardy!" in your life?
ABC announced Tuesday that a celebrity edition of the beloved quiz show will debut on the network this fall. The game show offshoot will feature celebrity contestants competing for a chance to win money for a charity of their choice.
"Celebrity Jeopardy!" will join the Sunday night lineup alongside "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune," which premiered in 2021. The former will air at 8 p.m. ET and the latter will air at 9 p.m. ET.
A host for "Celebrity Jeopardy!" has yet to be announced, but many assume Mayim Bialik will occupy the role. In August 2021, the "Big Bang Theory" alum was named host for future "Jeopardy!" primetime specials and spin-offs.
Bialik has split hosting responsibilities on the flagship "Jeopardy!" series with former contestant Ken Jennings. The "Blossom" alum also hosted the "Jeopardy! National College Championship" on ABC in February 2022.
