The very first "Little Women" trailer is here, starring Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, and directed by Oscar-nominated Greta Gerwig.

The film, out this Christmas, "draws on both the classic novel and the writings of Louisa May Alcott, and unfolds as the author’s alter ego, Jo March, reflects back and forth on her fictional life," according to the official description.

Meryl Streep, Emma Watson, Laura Dern and Bob Odenkirk are also featured in the film.

In the clip, you see the sexism of the time, as Ronan's Jo March, a writer, is told to make sure her female character is married by the end of the book.

After that, we get glimpse of all the women -- Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy, and how they instead want to make their own way into the world.

The cast of "Little Women" is seen in this grab from the official trailer.

Streep is a dash of comedic relief, the rich and sassy Aunt March.

Chalamet plays the heart-throb Theodore, who's always loved Jo.

The rest, well, see for yourself above!
