This genius 4-quarter, folded-wrap technique has filled food hack social media
Add an even amount of fillings to four quarters, fold, toast and enjoy!
The year 2020 is officially a wrap and it's fitting that the first viral food trend of 2021 is a hack to make breakfasts, lunches and snacks easier to eat than ever.
Rather than rolling up proteins, veggies and condiments inside a tortilla, which can make for a potentially messy eating experience, this new hack neatly organizes ingredients into four equal sections to optimize surface area and make consumption easier.
The trend, which has been filling feeds on Instagram reels and TikTok, shows people slice halfway up a tortilla then evenly dividing fillings and toppings into each quarter of the wrap.
From there each quarter is folded neatly on top of the next to create a triangular pocket and then gets finished in a pan, griddle or panini press to seal the snack.
See how it's done below from food blogger Cooking with Ayeh, who has tried it in breakfast, lunch, dinner and even dessert form.
