How to make the official cocktails of the Oscars Governors Ball
The drinks have been crafted by globally acclaimed mixologist Charles Joly.
On Oscar Sunday after the actresses and actors, directors and sound editors, animators and costume designers have accepted their Academy Awards, they will toast the evening with specialty cocktails at the Governors Ball made just for Hollywood's golden night.
The libations for the Academy's official party have been created by globally acclaimed mixologist Charles Joly, who shared his unique recipes with "Good Morning America" to be shaken, strained and sipped at home with all the exclusive ingredients.
The specialty bar experience will include four different Tequila Don Julio cocktails that boast unique flavor profiles from fresh and floral to smoky and sweet.
The glamorous party will also feature a variety of dishes by Wolfgang Puck Catering and Ghetto Gastro plus more beverages from Champagne Fleur de Miraval and two limited-edition Francis Ford Coppola Wines.

Limelight Margarita
Ingredients
1 1/4 oz tequila blanco
1/2 oz elderflower liqueur
5 dashes honeysuckle vinegar
3/4 fresh lime juice
1/4 oz simple syrup
Preparation
Combine tequila blanco, elderflower liqueur, honeysuckle vinegar, lime and simple syrup in a Boston shaker with ice.
Shake well and pour into a chilled coupe glass.
Mist with orange flower water, and garnish with edible flowers.
Picture Perfect Paloma
Ingredients
1 1/4 oz tequila reposado
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
8 muddled mint leaves
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz sparkling wine
Preparation
Combine tequila reposado, lime, grapefruit and mint leaves in a Boston shaker.
Muddle gently to extract mint oils. Add ice and shake lightly.
Double strain into a salt-rimmed collins glass with ice.
Top with sparkling wine and stir to combine. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
Old Hollywood Fashioned
Ingredients
1 1/3 oz tequila añejo
1/4 oz dry Oloroso sherry
1/4 oz barrel-aged truffled maple syrup
3 dashes truffle bitters
Preparation
Combine tequila añejo, dry Oloroso sherry, truffled maple syrup and truffle bitters over ice in a mixing glass.
Stir well to chill and dilute.
Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
Garnish with fresh rosemary sprig.
The Class Act
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio 1942
On a small bamboo spoon:
Small dab of chocolate ganache
Thinly sliced mushrooms poached in oloroso sherry
Caviar
Preparation
Pour Tequila Don Julio 1942 into a refined tasting glass.
Layer chocolate ganache, sherry-poached mushrooms and top with caviar onto a small bamboo demitasse spoon and serve alongside glass of Tequila Don Julio 1942.
The Governors Ball is held on Sunday, March 27, immediately following the Oscars broadcast at the Ray Dolby Ballroom on the top level of Hollywood & Highland.
