Make 'turkey legs' out of chocolate and pretzels with this Taste of Home recipe

Turkey legs have never looked sweeter.

Take pretzels, chocolate and caramel, and you have the perfect recipe for a twenty-minute, no-bake treat that the family just might fight over this Thanksgiving.

This quick dessert that your kids can help you make comes recommended as one of the year's top Taste of Home Turkey Day treats.

Chocolate Caramel Turkey Legs

Ingredients

40 caramels
20 honey wheat braided pretzel twists
3 ounces milk chocolate, melted

Directions

Microwave caramels on high until softened for 10-15 seconds.

Mold two softened caramels around the lower half of each braided pretzel to resemble a turkey leg.

Dip in melted chocolate and allow the excess to drip off.

Place on waxed paper. Let stand until set.

Store in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks. Yields 20 servings.
