'The Boss' Takes Charge at the Weekend Box Office

— -- Melissa McCarthy ruled the box office over the weekend with her latest comedy, "The Boss."
The film scored a narrow victory -- at least for now -- by earning an estimated $23.5 million from Friday through Sunday.
It just edged out "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which took in $23.4 million after winning the previous two weekends. It's possible the two movies will switch places when the final box office totals are released Monday.
The weekend's other wide release, the first-person thriller "Hardcore Henry," debuted in fifth place with $5.1 million.
