— -- Emma Stone was blown away to be nominated for a SAG Award today.

In spite of being so surprised, however, she kept her sense of humor.

"This is a huge honor and I'm pretty much stunned. To be in a category with three women I respect so much - and one I've never heard of but I'm sure is also great (Meryl Streep?) - is just incredible," the "Birdman" star said in a statement to ABC News.

"The fact that these awards are voted on by other actors makes it even more exciting. As a thank you, I hope to work with every single one of them one day in a giant, one-take movie I'm planning, starring this upstart Meryl Streep."

Stone, 26, was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, alongside Streep, Patricia Arquette, Keira Knightley, and Naomi Watts. Meanwhile, two stars who were nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role were equally flattered by the honor.

"This is the best 6 a.m. wake up call ever," gushed Jennifer Aniston, who was recognized for her role in "Cake."

"Words can't describe how blessed I feel to be recognized like this by my peers for this film. What an enormous feeling of joy and gratitude."

Aniston's colleague, Julianne Moore, who was nominated in the same category for her film "Still Alice," seemed equally over the moon.

"Wow! What a thrill to be nominated - it means so much when it comes from your peers," she said. "Thank you SAG, and thanks for including me with these wonderful actresses. Yay, what a great day!"

Actors also spoke about how it feels to be honored by SAG-AFTRA, the group behind the awards show.

“To [my character] Rustin Cohle, the best outlaw west of Woody Harrelson, and the best detective in the business - thanks to Nic [Pizzolatto] for the ownership and to my fellow actors for the nomination," "True Detective" star Matthew McConaughey said of his acting nod.

Eddie Redmayne, who received his first best actor SAG nomination for "The Theory of Everything," said he was "beyond grateful" for the nod.

“To be nominated by my peers, and to be included in a list that is comprised of so many actors I admire, is an incredible honor," he said. "And to be recognized alongside Felicity and my castmates means the world."
