— -- "Dancing With the Stars" professional dancer Mark Ballas is injured, ABC News has confirmed.

A rep for the show said, "We do not know if he will dance tonight or not."

Ballas, 29, is partnered with mixed martial artist Paige VanZant and was slated to perform "Danza Kuduro" by Don Omar featuring Lucenzo.

It's part of tonight's "Latin Night" on the show. During week two of the competition, 12 couples will perform the rumba, salsa, samba, paso doblé, cha cha or Argentine tango.

Ballas' injury comes after Nyle DiMarco was injured. DiMarco, the winner of the final season of "America's Next Top Model," had to be hospitalized and receive stitches, according to E! News.

DiMarco, 26, who is deaf, told E! through an interpreter that he was "elbowed in the eyebrow" by his pro partner, Peta Murgatroyd.

Tonight will mark the show's first elimination of the season. Geraldo Rivera received the lowest score on last week's premiere.

"Dancing With the Stars" airs on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
