— -- Idris Elba's hard work is paying off.

In fact, his ability to switch from the small screen to the big screen is what put his name in the history books -- he became the first male actor to take home two Screen Actors Guild Awards in one night back in January.

Still, the British actor fears he may be doing too much.

"I do worry sometimes about whether I’m going to burn out," he told "The Jungle Book" director Jon Favreau during a chat for Interview magazine. "Not burn myself out, but burn my art out, with audiences going, 'Ah, yeah, I’ve seen enough now, thanks very much.'"

Elba's worries aren't unwarranted. Along with his award-winning performances in 2015, in "Beasts of No Nation" and "Luther," Elba, 43, has also lent his talents to this year's "Zootopia," "The Jungle Book," "Finding Dory," "Bastille Day" and is set to star in "Star Trek Beyond," out July 22.

He's currently filming two movies, "The Dark Tower" and "Thor: Ragnarok," and the actor deejays in his spare time. He even contributed remixes to "The Jungle Book" soundtrack. Oh, and did we mention that a film he plans to direct is currently in production?

"When you break it down like that, it's unhealthy to have that much going on," Elba said. "I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything, but I sleep less, I'm constantly thinking, I'm constantly multitasking, and I really don't know what the effects are going to be when I'm older."

Elba explained there's a reason why he's constantly working, despite his fears.

"I don't ever stop. Not because I'm greedy or anything, but I’m always creating, debating with the part of my brain that is dormant. Wondering how I can move in and create a bit more space and take a bit more time," he said.

"It's almost like the more I achieve, the more capacity I have to achieve," Elba said.
