— -- Teresa Giudice has been reluctant -- to say the least -- when asked questions about her husband's possible deportation.

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star, along with her husband, Joe, were convicted of tax fraud in 2014 and sentenced to serve time in prison. Because Joe Giudice, 44, isn't a U.S. citizen, he faces possible deportation to Italy.

When ABC News asked the reality show star about Joe Giudice's possible deportation back in July, Giudice replied: "I'm not even gonna answer that. And you shouldn't have even asked me that."

"Out of respect for my four daughters, too. If anybody else asks me that I would say the same thing to them," she added.

Giudice kept her promise, even walking out of an "Access Hollywood Live" interview later that month.

During the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" reunion, which aired on Bravo Sunday night, Giudice, 44, explained why she's reluctant to talk about the matter.

"It's a legal matter, so we're not supposed to discuss it," she told host Andy Cohen, "and we’ll deal with that when it comes."

She added, "There’s nasty people out there who would give it life. And I don’t need to give it life."

Last year, Giudice served more than 11 months at Danbury Federal Prison in Connecticut. Her husband is currently serving 41 months at Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix in New Jersey, a minimum security prison.
