Sadie Robertson is encouraging her 3.6 million social media followers to end their body image insecurities.

The former "Duck Dynasty" star, 22, who tied the knot with Christian Huff last month in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family, recently shared a photo of herself with a message about self-love and acceptance.

She said that her new husband told her, "Whoa babe your stretch marks are so cool," which made me think about the topic. "I’m finding it’s pretty cool that the things I was insecure about, my husband thinks are the best," she captioned her post.

"I think that the things most people are insecure about are the things we think are the best on the ones we love," she continued. "Smile lines, face wrinkles, stretch marks, scars that say we made it through something hard, and all the other things we notice in the mirror that bother us, our friends and family notice and love."

She offered her followers some advice: "Just think about it ... if we love it for other people let’s just start loving it for ourselves too -- it would make life a lot more fun."

The reality star and former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant often discusses topics like confidence and embracing your own skin on her blog, Live Original.

She recently shared another post reflecting on how much she's appreciated her followers' support and advice on her new marriage.

"We’ve truly been so thankful. It’s brought so much joy and excitement for our life and future together!" she said about the feedback she's received. "Our people haven’t been fluffy about the hard parts of marriage, but they’ve been more than supportive and celebratory cheering us on to walk in it!"

"We are so thankful for the examples around us and all the advice!" she added. "God's design is awesome and what He does through marriage is something we are so excited to step into."
