Coach Bombay is back.

Emilio Estevez will reprise his role as Coach Gordon Bombay in the new Disney+ series, "The Mighty Ducks," based on the popular '90s movies, Disney announced Thursday.

In the 10-episode series, actress Lauren Graham portrays a mom who teams up with Coach Bombay to "build their own ragtag team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports," after her son, played by Brady Noon, is cut from the Ducks, now an "ultra-competitive, powerhouse" team.

"The Mighty Ducks" begins production this month in Vancouver and will premiere later this year.

“Once a Duck, always a Duck!” Estevez said. “After 25 years, I am delighted to lace up my skates, put on Coach Bombay's jacket and return to play the iconic character for this new chapter in ‘The Mighty Ducks’ franchise. Likewise, I am thrilled to return to my old stomping grounds with my friends at Disney and Steve Brill, the original creator of the franchise, to join them on their exciting new platform, Disney+.”

The franchise began as a series of films, which were released in 1992, 1994 and 1996.

In the flicks, Estevez starred as the coach of an underdog hockey team, which featured future "Dawson's Creek" actor Joshua Jackson.

Graham is known for playing Lorelai Gilmore in "The Gilmore Girls" from 2000 to 2007, as well as appearing in six seasons of the drama "Parenthood."
