Jennifer Lopez celebrates twins Emme and Max's 13th birthday with sweet video
"My beautiful babies are teenagers today!! OMG!!"
Jennifer Lopez is officially mother to two teenagers.
The "Let's Get Loud" singer took to social media on Monday to celebrate the 13th birthday of her twins, Emme and Max, both of whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
"My beautiful babies are teenagers today!! OMG!! I can't believe it's been 13 years since I carried them both home in my arms in the middle of a snowstorm," Lopez, 51 wrote. "Out of that blizzard came two perfect lil' coconuts who rearranged my life and taught me the true meaning of love."
In the video, which shows Emme and Max enjoying breakfast in bed, the "Hustlers" actress tells them, "Do you know how proud I am of you, who you've grown into?"
She has plenty to be proud of, too. Throughout the years, the twins have shown they have inherited their parents' talents, with Max wowing in school plays and being socially conscious while Emme wrote a book and joined Lopez during last year's Super Bowl halftime show. They have even proven to be duet partners.
These days, Lopez and her twins have been forming a blended family with Lopez's fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, and the former New York Yankees player's two daughters, 16-year-old Natasha and 12-year-old Ella.
Lopez and Rodriguez became engaged in March 2019.
