Queen Elizabeth meets great-grandson Archie, son of Meghan and Prince Harry

The birth of a baby is a happy time for family -- and Queen Elizabeth clearly knows that well, judging by her reaction to meeting her eighth great-grandson, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The queen met Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son on Wednesday, two days after he was born.
"This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle," the official Instagram account for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said in a post.
The post also noted the presence of another important person in the room: Doria Ragland, Meghan's mother.
"The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess' mother were also present for this special occasion," the post said.
The photo shows Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip smiling at the baby as Meghan holds him. Ragland and Prince Harry stand in the background, also gazing lovingly at the newborn.
That Instagram post was exciting for another reason: It also revealed the baby's name for the first time.
Meghan and Prince Harry debuted their baby to the world at a photo call at Windsor Castle just before meeting the queen Wednesday.
"It's magic. It's pretty amazing," Meghan told reporters. "I have the two best guys in the world, so I'm really happy."
Meghan said Archie had actually met his great-grandfather, Prince Philip, moments earlier when they "bumped into" him on their way to the formal appearance.
"It'll be a nice moment to introduce the baby to more family," Meghan said. "And my mom is with us as well."
Archie was born Monday, May 6, at 5:26 a.m. local time, weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces. Meghan gave birth to him at Portland Hospital, a private hospital in London, according to a royal source. A birth announcement from Buckingham Palace indicated the duke and duchess were back home at Frogmore Cottage that day.
