Salma Hayek celebrates turning 53 by sharing a bikini photo

Salma Hayek is 53 years old, and proud of it.

Hours before ringing in her birthday, the actress shared an image of herself wearing a bikini.

"Yes, tomorrow I’m 53. So!?" she captioned the shot.

She also translated the caption into Spanish.

Hayek, whose birthday is Sept. 2, shared in a subsequent post that she celebrated with "family, friends, good weather in London, with an all female Mariachi band, lots of tequila, wine, delicious food, love, dancing and singing badly in memory of #fridakhalo and #chavelavargas." She also thanked her husband, billionaire businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, and their 11-year-old daughter, Valentina, for making the party memorable.

Several stars commented on Hayek's photo to compliment her and wish her a happy birthday.

"@salmahayek and it never looked so good!!!!!" Lenny Kravitz wrote.

Cindy Crawford commented with several flame emojis and Pierce Brosnan added: "Happy birthday dear Salma."
