Little Boy Blames Batman After Making a Mess in Mother's Room

— -- A Scottish boy blamed Batman after being caught red-handed scribbling lipstick all over his mother's mirror.

The charming video of 2-year-old Noel Hopkins pinning it all on the Caped Crusader has gone viral on Facebook, with more than 400,000 views.

When his mother, Laura, asked the little tot who drew on her mirror, Noel replied with a straight face: "It's Batman! It's Batman! Batman did it!"

Noel's mom has another theory.

"I think Noel had gone into his sister's room and she has a makeup box under her bed. He'd obviously gotten to it," Laura, 32, told ABC News.

The Inverness, Scotland, mother of two said her son has a fascination with superheroes, particularly The Hulk.

"I think Batman is his least favorite and that's why he got blamed," she said with a laugh.
