Halloween Hacks: How to Apply Your Kids’ Makeup
Hesitant about making up your children’s faces for Halloween? Don't despair.
— -- Calling all parents. If you’re hesitant about making up your children’s faces for Halloween, don’t despair.
Katie Brown, editor in chief of Yahoo Makers, appeared on “Good Morning America” today to share tips and tricks for taking your child's Halloween makeup to the next level.
Brown appeared as part of the “Yahoo Your Day” collaboration between “Good Morning America” and Yahoo’s experts.
Brown showed “GMA”’s Abbie Boudreau some easy ways to paint children’s faces, demonstrating how to paint a cat, zombie, wolf and a Ninja Turtle.
“You do not need makeup artists for this,” Brown said.
It’s all about the pattern, she said. Use a spoon – or sunglasses or even a bowl – to draw patterns-stencils on children’s faces in the desired shape.
She advised parents to keep the costume simple to set off the makeup.
