"The Year: 2015” brings viewers a news-filled, star-studded look at the most memorable and unbelievable moments of 2015, in this fifth annual network special airing on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. Anchored by Robin Roberts with the all-star team of anchors and correspondents of ABC News including George Stephanopoulos, David Muir, Lara Spencer, Elizabeth Vargas, Amy Robach, Juju Chang, Dan Harris, Ginger Zee, Byron Pitts, and Michael Strahan, this two-hour special delivers an eye-opening, uplifting, and often hilarious look at the year’s biggest names, hottest trends, and lowest moments.

From the 2016 Presidential race, to the Pope’s historic US visit and the Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of marriage equality, "The Year: 2015” highlights the iconic and most talked about moments of the year. Unforgettable moments that rocked the tabloids including the headline grabbing breakups of celebrities like Ben and Jen and Blake and Miranda, to the buzz of breakout stars like Amy Schumer and Ronda Rousey, this all-encompassing special is a roller-coaster ride through everything the nation couldn’t stop talking about all year.

"The Year: 2015” also celebrates Star Wars fever and a new Empire taking over television; and covers everything from record weather to record-breaking sports, and breakthrough discoveries.
