George Zimmerman says in court documents that "newly discovered evidence" in a recent book and film proved he could of been wrongfully convicted.

Zimmerman and his lawyer are alleging that one of the witnesses in the 2013 trial, during which he was acquitted in the fatal shooting of the unarmed black teenager, was a fake.

Zimmerman, who was acquitted of Trayvon's murder in 2012, has filed a $100 million lawsuit for defamation and other charges.
