Idris Elba Talks Fear of Burning Out: 'It's Unhealthy To Have That Much Going On'

The actor said, "it's unhealthy to have that much going on."

Still, the British actor fears he may be doing too much.

He's currently filming two movies, "The Dark Tower" and "Thor: Ragnarok," and the actor deejays in his spare time. He even contributed remixes to "The Jungle Book" soundtrack. Oh, and did we mention that a film he plans to direct is currently in production?

"When you break it down like that, it's unhealthy to have that much going on," Elba said. "I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything, but I sleep less, I'm constantly thinking, I'm constantly multitasking, and I really don't know what the effects are going to be when I'm older."

Elba explained there's a reason why he's constantly working, despite his fears.

"I don't ever stop. Not because I'm greedy or anything, but I’m always creating, debating with the part of my brain that is dormant. Wondering how I can move in and create a bit more space and take a bit more time," he said.

"It's almost like the more I achieve, the more capacity I have to achieve," Elba said.
