Are Wedding Bells in Snooki's Future?
The "Jersey Shore" star talks about the future of her relationship on "GMA."
Aug. 10, 2011 -- Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has become famous for her goofy, wild and often drunken antics on the hit MTV reality TV show "Jersey Shore," but the 23-year-old Marlboro, N.Y., native says she'll ditch the act when the time comes to be a wife.
"I've calmed down already. I don't hook up anymore," she said today on "Good Morning America." "I'll always be this crazy, fun person, but when it's time to get married, I'm going to be an amazing wife."
The pint-sized cast member's romantic escapades have been documented on three seasons of the reality show, but she says she can see herself settling down with current boyfriend Jionni LaValle.
"Jionni is a great guy so I'm so down to making Guido babies with him," Polizzi said. "Not yet. I'm only 23, but eventually I would love to get married."
"Big ring, baby," she shouted to LaValle, who was on the "GMA" set today along with Polizzi's father, Andy Polizzi. Her dad revealed he wouldn't mind seeing LaValle become his son-in-law.
Season 4 of MTV's hit-reality show follows Polizzi and her seven cast mates as they head to the homeland -- Italy. The season premiere drew almost 9 million viewers, making it the highest-rated in MTV's history.
Polizzi, arguably the show's breakout star, has parlayed her over-the-top personality, poufy-hair and penchant for pickles into more television appearances, speaking engagements and a book deal. Her new book, "Confessions of a Guidette," comes out in hardcover on Nov 1.
Despite public's perception of her as a party girl and ditz, Polizzi insists she's "a real person" with business savvy and book smarts.
"You know what's sad. People are like, 'Oh my god, you can read,'" Polizzi said. "I went to school, I went to college. I know how to read. Even though I lack common sense sometimes, I am book smart."
