Stars With Outrageous Backstage Demands
Lady Gaga's backstage demands include naked mannequins and lavender everything.
Feb. 7, 2013 -- intro: White leather couches, black satin drapes, Jameson whiskey and organic foods were among the demands made by Lady Gaga during her Monster's Ball tour.
Details of Gaga's tour rider -- the list of backstage demands that must be fulfilled for each stop -- were recently divulged on the website Celebuzz.

According to the website, the "Bad Romance" singer requested during her two-and-a-half year tour that her dressing room be decorated in "glam rock" fashion, with silver satin walls, white leather couches, black satin drapes and posters of famous rock stars such as David Bowie, Queen and Elton John.
She also requested that a mannequin with "puffy pink pubic hair" be placed in her dressing room, for reasons not known.
In addition, Gaga requested that her backstage bathroom be decked out with lavender-colored bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, hand soap, body wash and face soap. She also required sea-foam loofah sponges, a candle and fresh roses -- in lavender, of course.
When it came to food, Gaga aimed for healthy, requesting organic teas and milk, organic tortilla chips, sprouted grain tortillas, peanut butter with no more than four grams of sugar, tuna and Activia yogurt. But she allowed for a couple vices, specifically "quality white wine" and Jameson whiskey.
According to Celebuzz, the details from the rider appeared in court documents as part of the six-hour deposition Gaga gave in a lawsuit involving her former assistant, Jennifer O'Neill.
O'Neill is suing the singer for $300,000 for unpaid overtime pay. In the deposition, obtained by the New York Post, Gaga dismissed O'Neill, whom she once called "my best friend from NY since I was 19," as an undeserving "hood rat" who "thinks she's just like the queen of the universe."
"I'm the queen of the universe every day," Gaga was quoted as saying.
Apparently, she's not the only one who thinks that way. Click through to see more outrageous demands made by other stars.

As a judge on "American Idol," Steven Tyler proved he could go toe to toe with divas like Jennifer Lopez, his fellow judge.
If there was any doubt, however, he cleared it up in his memoir, "Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?" released earlier in 2011. The famous womanizer would have a member of the Aerosmith entourage make sure any girl Tyler took a liking to was in the shower by the time he returned to his dressing room.
"I liked my pulchritude pristine! I can't kiss a girl that's been stage diving with 500 other guys," he wrote.
As for his cocaine, Tyler liked a lot of it, and whenever the band was on tour, according to the memoir, the frontman would demand a full-length, 6-foot-long mirror in the dressing room.
"I would take the local promoter's rep into the dressing room, and he'd say, 'Well, there's the 6-foot mirror you requested, Steven.' And I'd say, 'I can see the mirror all right, but where the f**k's the 3-foot razor blade?'" he wrote.media: 18421764

As she readied for her 2010 tour, pop starRihanna made sure the prepping area of every concert venue felt like home -- which is, apparently, a leopard-print haven littered with Archipelago Black Forest candles that cost $29 a pop.
According to the pop star's tour rider, obtained by the Smoking Gun, Rihanna's tastes were pretty particular. They included: a six-foot couch -- plush, white and no leather, and big enough for her to stretch out on for a nap -- six floor lamps with dimmers, throw pillows and a "clean" rug in animal print and the aforementioned candles.
The singer also had specific instructions for how she liked her flowers arranged. "Small, clear, square vases with White Tulips, if in season -- No Foliage (2nd choice: White Casablanca Lilies no foliage, 3rd choice: White Freesia no foliage)," the rider said.
The document ended with an all-caps, bold, underlined, weirdly phrased declaration about Rihanna's sanitary standards:

One of the original divas, Mariah Carey is not to be outdone by relative newcomer Rihanna.
According to her 2010 tour rider obtained by the Smoking Gun, Carey requested such luxuries as a $200 bottle of cabernet sauvignon, two dozen white roses and vanilla aromatherapy candles in her dressing room.
Like Rihanna, Carey was also specific about how she lounges backstage. Her rider requested that the temperature of her room hover at 75 degrees and the furniture in her "living room space" bear "no busy patterns; black, dark gray, cream, dark pink are all fine." media: 18421707

The Foo Fighters set the "standard for really fun, witty contract riders," the Smoking Gun's managing editor Andrew Goldberg told ABCNews.com.
"The manager requests bath towels, and threatens a wedgie if they're brand new. He calls bacon 'God's currency.' The humor makes it fun to read -- and that's hard to do with a contract." Click Here for More.

When she's on the road, health-conscious singer Christina Aguilera requests real coffee mugs for her java, along with soy milk, soy cheese, echinacea, vitamin C and Flintstones chewable vitamins -- guess she still hasn't outgrown them -- according to her 2010 tour rider.
