Adele and Jennifer Lawrence stop by NYC gay bar to say hello
Lucky patrons of Pieces in New York City got the surprise of a lifetime.
Megastars Adele and Jennifer Lawrence surprised lucky patrons at Pieces, a New York City gay bar, on Friday night.
The duo took over the bar for a wild night featuring drinking games, dancing and fun.
Brita Filter, a drag queen performing at the venue that night, shared a video of Adele onstage and photos of the two having what looked like a blast.
"I had no idea they were stopping in," Filter told "Good Morning America." "I said hi to Jennifer when I realized she was there and she said, 'We heard you were the best!' Then minutes later Adele walks in."
"They stayed for most of my show. Watched me perform 3 numbers," she added. "I knew I was Rolling in the Deep when Adele started tipping me with $50 bills!"
When Brita asked Adele what she did for a living -- during what appeared to be a mock game show in front of the crowd -- Adele answered, "I'm actually at the moment a stay-at-home mom."
"My stomach was turning just like Adele was 'Turning Tables,'" Filter added. "I kept it cool. I love helping people escape. They can come to my show for a couple hours have a drink and laugh."
"When you come to a Brita Filter show you’re not a fan, you’re a friend!" she added.
The crowd looked thrilled to be in the presence of the Grammy award-winning singer.
In another viral clip, Lawrence tackled Adele to the ground for losing in a drinking game.
Someone in the background of the clip can be heard saying, "Jennifer, this isn't 'The Hunger Games!'"
