A 3-year-old American foxhound named Jewel earned the Best in Show title yesterday during the 2013 National Dog Show, presented by Purina.

Of all the adorable pooches, Jewel is the first hound to win the title in 12 years.

To grab the award for Best in Show, Jewel beat out a Norfolk Terrier, standard schnauzer and bearded collie, among others.

There were more than 1,500 dogs judged at the show in Philadelphia, according to Yahoo Sports.

Jewel's handler, Lisa Miller, said, "She is probably the best American foxhound I've ever bred."
