Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia Shake Hands
The two golf players shook hands this morning at the U.S. Open, possibly ending a month-long feud.
Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia met earlier today at the Merion Golf Club in Pennsylvania. They quickly shook hands on the practice range, as seen in a video captured by The Golf Channel.
This is the first time the two golf rivals have come together since Garcia's infamous "fried chicken" remarks.
When a reporter asked Garcia on May 21 if he would ever invite Woods over for dinner, Garcia responded, "we will have him 'round every night. We will serve fried chicken."
Woods took to Twitter to criticize the comment.
"It was wrong, hurtful, and clearly inappropriate," he posted.
Woods declined to talk to reporters about his meeting with Garcia this morning.
