Jenny Mollen, who often reflects on her life as a mother-of-two in hilarious social posts, recently shared a more serious moment in her life. She revealed a terrifying experience she had with her 5-year-old son, Sid, on Saturday night.

The actress, and wife to actor Jason Biggs, shared in an emotional Instagram post that she dropped Sid on his head, fracturing his skull and sending him into the intensive care unit.

She extended her appreciation for the hospital staff at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and the downtown location of Lenox Hill Hospital "for their immediate response and aid."

Mollen also assured her followers that Sid was recovering after the fall.

"It has been a traumatic week but Sid is home now taking things slowly and recovering nicely," she wrote alongside a photo with him, in which his face is covered by a sticker. "He is also eating a lot of chocolate dipped ice cream cones and plans to try cherry dipped soon."

"My heart goes out to all parents who have or will ever find themselves in this kind of position," she added. "You are not alone..."

The actress also mentioned how grateful she was for her husband, Biggs, in the post.

My heart goes out to all parents who have or will ever find themselves in this kind of position. You are not alone...
