It was the bombshell rip seen round the world. The split went right down the back of actress Sofia Vergara's sequined Zuhair Murad gown just moments before her sitcom, " Modern Family," won its third Emmy for best comedy series Sunday night.

Then the split went viral, thanks to the actress herself.

Vergara, 40, not only tweeted a photo of herself being sewn back into the dress, she also tweeted a picture of the damage, exposing a clear view of her rear end, along with the caption, "Yes!!!! This happened 20 min before we won!!!! Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!"

The gag seemed like something straight out of "Modern Family," not something that would happen to the show's most glamorous star on TV's biggest night.
