Watch John Mayer's Music Video Featuring Prancercise Star Joanna Rohrback
Sure, you've heard of "Prancercize," but now that its creator Joanna Rohrback has teamed up with John Mayer, get ready to "Romancercize."
In the video for Mayer's new single "Paper Doll," Rohrback, who created the unorthodox workout in 1989, introduces herself and asks, "What about a prance to romance to? What about romancercizing to John Mayer's 'Paper Doll'?" From there, she can be seen moving rhythmically to the music as lyrics to Mayer's song flashes across the screen.
And those lyrics, according to some, may be aimed at Mayer's reported ex, Taylor Swift.
Not only is the number "22? mentioned (which also happens to be the title of one of Swift's songs), but there's another lyric, "Someone's gonna paint you another sky," that seems directly aimed at Swift's line "You paint me a blue sky and go back and turn it to rain," from her song, "Dear John."
But Rohrback is thrilled with the song.
"I really enjoyed doing it and applaud John for being unique in this presentation," Rohrback wrote on her YouTube page. "[It's] not just another Hollywood cookie cutter version!"
