Macaulay Culkin Booed Off Stage, Pelted With Beer During British Festival Show

"Home Alone" star turned rocker Macaulay Culkin and his pizza-themed band were booed off stage as the audience pelted them with beer during a performance at a music festival in England.
The 33-year-old former child star, best known for his role as Kevin McCallister in the early '90s films, was performing with his band, The Pizza Underground, at Rock City in Nottingham, England, for the Dot to Dot music festival over the weekend when the audience turned on them.
According to The Nottingham Post, boos and jeers rose up from the crowd after the band's first song and then some concertgoers started throwing pints of beer at them. The band was on stage for only 15 minutes before storming off, the newspaper reported.
The Post also noted that as security guards tried to remove the perpetrators, Culkin told the audience, "Why are you throwing those? I'd rather drink them."
After the band ended their set early, some audience members took to Twitter to describe their experiences:
The pizza underground genuinely the worse thing I've ever seen on stage… Who booked these? #d2dfest #nottingham #rockcity

Culkin, who does vocals and plays kazoo, and his band parody classic hits from the American rock band Velvet Underground with pizza-themed lyrics, which one fan seemed to think was a step too far for some audience members.
Of course Macaulay Culkin keeps being booed off stage with The Pizza Underground - they change Lou Reed's Perfect Day to 'It's a Pizza Day'

The band later tweeted:
Thank you so much Nottingham and dot to dot. Sorry that a couple people ruined it for everyone.
