Obama Swept Up in 'Linsanity'
President Obama is "very impressed and fully up to speed" on New York Knicks sensation Jeremy Lin, White House press secretary Jay Carney said today.
"We were speaking about Jeremy Lin … as we flew here to Andrews Air Force base this morning. … It's just a great story and the president was saying as much this morning," Carney said in response to a question from ABC News aboard Air Force 1.
"It's terrific for the New York Knicks, but it's the kind of sports story that transcends sport itself. … Yes, he's very impressed and fully up to speed. He has watched Lin play already and did see the highlights from last night's game."
