The Onion Joe Biden Lives On in New 'Autobiography'
There's a new Joe Biden "autobiography" out, but it's not written by the actual vice president.
Instead, The Onion, the satirical newspaper which has parodied Biden over the years, is releasing a new e-book written titled "The President of Vice: The Autobiography of Joe Biden." It will be available on the Kindle Singles store for $2.99 starting Friday, ABC News has confirmed.
"Hombre, you've just done Uncle Joe a real solid buying this book," begins the foreword of the book. "I ain't the kind of guy who forgets his debts. Next time we meet there's a tallboy of ice cold Beast on me. And if you're a lady, I know a few tricks to repay you with interest, if you catch my drift."
"My one and only 1983 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. I still get butterflies fluttering around in my stomach every time I lock eyes with those gold snowflake rims," Onion Joe Biden writes later on, according to excerpts provided to ABC News.
Of course, the real Joe Biden wrote an autobiography of his own in 2008 - "Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics" - which became a New York Times bestseller.
