We've entered a brave new world of rapid response marketing on social media-and the birth of the royal baby proves it.
The ABC News Social Desk estimates that over 2.7 million tweets have been sent about the royal baby since 9 a.m. yesterday. Facebook says there have been over 3.5 mentions on its platform. Not to be left behind-companies took to Twitter and Facebook to capitalize on the conversation to spread their brands virally.
