Curly Sue Got Married: Former Child Star Alisan Porter Ties The Knot
Curly Sue got married. Former child star Alisan Porter is all grown up, and she tied the knot this weekend in a small California ceremony.
The 30-year-old sing-songwriter and actress is best known as the star of "Curly Sue," a 1991 John Hughes film also featuring John Belushi and Kelly Lynch.
Porter confirmed the wedding through her Twitter account, @alisanporter, posting on Sunday "IM MARRIED!!!!!!" and a picture of an outdoor floral altar. The actress also posted photos of her lacy, strapless gown, which People Magazine reports is a custom R-Mine dress.
The bride and groom Brian Autenrieth, 33, are longtime friends, and Porter tells People, "it's the most incredible feeling to know you're marrying your best friend." The pair started dated when the actress was just 18 before breaking up, and then getting back together; their first dance song was reportedly Frank Sinatra's "The Second Time Around."
The couple are expecting their first child in July. Porter began the year by posting a photo of her ultrasound and positive pregnancy tests on Twitter. Her baby bump is visible in one of the wedding day photos she posted online.
Porter was mostly recently seen on Broadway in "Footloose" and "A Chorus Line."
