Chanel has announced Brad Pitt as the newest model for their Chanel No. 5 perfume.  The Academy Award nominated star is now the first man to be named the face of the French-owned company's top-selling perfume ad campaign.

Famous names like Nicole Kidman, Lauren Hutton and Audrey Tautou have also been the face of the iconic fashion house. Tautou even played the role of Founding Designer CoCo Chanel in the in the cinematic release CoCo Before Chanel.

Pitt, 48, is no stranger to being a model of perfection after becoming the first man to win "the sexiest man alive" title twice by People Magazine.

Chanel hasn't released the details of the deal but reports say the ads will air overseas later this year.
