Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson Share First Interview Since Cheating Scandal

The rumors of their being spotted together in secret reunions have grabbed tabloid headlines for months but now, for the first time, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have officially appeared together in public.

The public reunion was not so much about a love for each other, however, but a love for their new movie, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," set to make its debut Nov. 16 in U.S. theaters.

"I feel like every single scene in this movie culminates with some kind of kiss," Stewart, 22, told "Entertainment Tonight" in her first joint interview with Pattinson for the new movie.

The couple, who split this the summer after Stewart was caught kissing her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders and admitted to an affair, opened up to "ET" and MTV News in interviews and, while they didn't discuss their romance, they also didn't hold back about their sex scenes in the highly anticipated film.

When asked by MTV what fans should expect from what Pattinson, 26, described as a "third form of sexuality," their characters' vampire-on-vampire romance, Stewart let Pattinson take the lead.

"I'm going to let him take this one," she said, drawing a laugh from their co-star, Taylor Lautner, who joined them for the interviews.

"I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know, but I imagine it's quite like the scene where they're doing pottery in 'Ghost,'" Patterson replied.

MTV also got the couple to discuss the Halloween costumes they donned Wednesday night, their most public appearance together yet after rumors that they had been spotted together at a Los Angeles-area bar and possibly moved back in together.

"Oh yes, it looks awesome," Stewart said when showed a paparazzi-snapped photo of herself in a pink wig and sunglasses. "That's not fair. That's actually a really weird [photo]."

Stewart acknowledged the inspiration behind the costume was Natalie Portman's character in the movie "Closer," while Pattinson admitted a less-specific inspiration.

"That's not me," he said. "I chose someone who is just genuinely terrifying. It was a $3 mask from a 7-Eleven."

Us Weekly broke the news of the affair between Stewart and Sanders, a 41-year-old married father of two, in July. After the news broke, Pattinson moved out of the Los Angeles home he shared with Stewart and both she and Sanders issued public apologies.

Fans of the pair, who have starred in the blockbuster "Twilight" movies, were disappointed by the affair and subsequent breakup. Some critics have suggested that a Stewart-Pattinson reconciliation might be a publicity stunt to benefit the "Twilight" movie franchise.

In an appearance on "Good Morning America" in August to promote another movie, Pattinson declined to comment on the affair or his relationship with Stewart.

"I've never been interested in trying to sell my personal life and that's really the only reason people bring it up," the star told "GMA." "The reason you go on to TV is to promote movies. That's the only way to do it."
