Taylor Swift won her first CMA Entertainer of the Year trophy back in 2009 and she did it again at last year's show on the strength of her "Speak Now" album and tour. The pop idol is the second woman in history to win that award twice, and now she may win it a third time.

"To win it, and then not win it and then win it again, it was like I was like, 'Oh my God!'" Swift told ABC News. "It just felt like such a big, huge, wonderful pat on the back for all the work that we've done, and how much fun we've had doing it."

Swift is honored to be up for the CMA's top prize again at Thursday night's show, and she really is just happy to be nominated.

"Who knows what happens that night, but it's just, it's so cool to be in that awesome, awesome really prestigious list," she said.

Swift is set to perform a song from her new album "Red" at the CMA Awards Thursday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
