Susan Boyle released a Christmas album in 2010 called "The Gift." Now, she's planning to make her feature-film debut in a Christmas movie.

The "Britain's Got Talent" star will appear in "The Christmas Candle," a movie that's being shot in the U.K, The Hollywood Reporter reported. The film, set in 1890, is based on a novella of the same name, and involves angels, candles and Christmas wishes.

Among Su-Bo's co-stars is Samantha Barks, who played Eponine in the Oscar-nominated film "Les Miserables," and who just performed on the Oscars. The two should have a lot to talk about because Boyle, 51, first shot to fame singing the Les Mis tune "I Dreamed a Dream."

There's no word on what the singer's role in the film will be. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Scottish singer said in a statement, "Everyone on set is a delight to work with, and it's a fantastic experience to be part of the team. I'm really enjoying getting dressed in the period costumes and stepping back in time, and although it's very cold filming on location, I'm wearing long johns under my bustle."
