Christina Hendricks Dishes on Her Marriage and Her (Adorable!) New Puppy

The past few years have been a whirlwind for Christina Hendricks. Not only did she get the role of a lifetime - Joan Harris in AMC's "Mad Men" - but as she shot the first season, which aired in 2007, she met her husband of more than three years, actor Geoffrey Arend.

"He was a friend of [co-star] Vincent Kartheiser's and that's how we met," reveals Hendricks, 37, in a new interview with Peter Travers. "He stuck around! I was so happy."

Since then, the two have lived a blissful, albeit busy, life together in Los Angeles. Hendricks says that she and Arend, 35, who stars on the ABC series "Body of Proof," haven't taken a real break since their honeymoon in 2009, but love cooking and gardening together. Right now, they're also doting on the newest member of their family, a cockapoo puppy.

"She has the same hair as me!" says Hendricks. "We call her ZuZu. She was named after [the character] in 'It's a Wonderful Life' [because] she was a Christmas puppy."
