Jennie Garth Turning 41, Drops 30 Pounds

Stunning vacation pictures of 40-year-old actress Jennie Garth are making headlines after being snapped last Wednesday.
Garth was all smiles, sporting a pink bikini on holiday with her three daughters in Mexico, and it turns out she has a lot to celebrate. The star, who rose to fame in the early 1990s hit teen drama "90210? turns 41 Wednesday and says she's looking and feeling better than ever.
She recently sat down with Health magazine, revealing a dramatic 30-pound weight loss.
"I've been working out really hard," Garth told the magazine. "I've been weight training with a trainer three days a week."

Her secret is eating clean and exercising five days a week.
"One of my favorite healthy things to eat is salad with beets on it," Garth said. "I love beets. I can't get enough beets lately. I like to eat them or drink them."
Garth also shared her two golden rules for staying slim. The first is to weigh yourself often by doing "check-ins," and the second is to "run from fad diets."
"I really never sit down," Garth said. "I mean, that's basically the secret. It's just not sitting around."
Camille Chatterjee, deputy editor of Health magazine, said, "One of Jennie's biggest diet fixations right now is Greek yogurt. She loves swapping it in instead of mayo or sour cream and even her kids don't realize that it's yogurt. They love it."

Garth, whose 11-year marriage to "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli ended in March 2012, spoke to "Good Morning America" at a film premier in October, telling us she's stronger than ever after the split.
"I'm slowly getting my life back," she said. "Definitely been a process. I'm still in the process. Every day it just gets better and better."
Garth joins a list of actresses taking their 40s by storm, from Halle Berry to Brooke Burke Charvet, all looking fabulous in figure-hugging frocks, proving age is nothing but a number these days.
